Altrusa International Supports Homework Help Centers

For the eighth straight year, Altrusa International has supported Columbus Metropolitan Library’s Homework Help Centers.

Altrusa Columbus was chartered in 1918 to provide an opportunity for professional and executive women to perform community service while giving them the opportunity to build relationships with women of similar backgrounds who were working in a variety of industries and professions. The Altrusa International of Columbus, Ohio, Foundation was established in 2006 as a subsidiary of the International Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to improve the economic well-being and quality of life in our local and global communities through a commitment to community service, literacy and education. The name Altrusa is a combination of the word “altruism” and “USA.”
