Join us for an unforgettable evening with award-winning author Colum McCann!

Colum McCann is the author of two collections of short stories and five novels, including This Side of Brightness, Dancer and Zoli, all of which were international best-sellers. His newest novel is Let the Great World Spin, winner of the 2009 National Book Award for Fiction. His fiction has been published in 30 languages and has appeared in many publication including The New Yorker, The Atlantic Monthly, GQ, and Paris Review. In 2003 Colum was named Esquire magazine’s Writer of the Year. His short film Everything in This Country Must, directed by Gary McKendry, was nominated for an Academy Award in 2005.

The evening includes the presentation of the Julian Sinclair Smith Award to a lifelong learner in central Ohio, a book signing, and wonderful food among the stacks from the city’s best restaurants. Enjoy this special evening while making a vital contribution to our library’s growth and presence in our community.
