CODY CONOVER FUND FOR YOUNG MINDS
Cody Conover, son of Dana and Debbie Conover, died in June 2007 at the age of 25. Cody was an avid reader and loved books. As a young child he enjoyed the pleasure that library books would bring and on many occasions would not go to sleep until his mother had read every book to him that they had borrowed that day. As Cody grew into a young man and into adulthood his interests expanded. He read books about science fiction, the classics, poetry, history, science and trivia. Kurt Vonnegut was his favorite author. His most recent readings included The Hitchhikers Guide to the Universe, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, and E=MC.
Because of Cody's love for books and the tribute paid to him through the generous donations of family, friends and Elmer’s Products, the Cody Conover Fund for Young Minds is established. Income from this fund will be used for a great range of programs including Ready to Read, Summer Reading Club and Homework Help Centers.
