With your help, we can create a library that will change lives throughout the Dublin community.
We’re currently $900,000 away from our goal!
Columbus Metropolitan Library is committed to building a new,
To ensure that your branch continues to serve the needs of the Dublin community well into the future, Columbus Metropolitan Library is bringing you a new space that will meet the demands of the 21st century customer.
We have embarked on an ambitious plan to build a new Dublin Branch with double the space of the existing building. The branch will allow for more access to the unique programming, resources and dedicated staff that the community enjoys today. Through this renewed library, we will create a space where the Dublin community will dream, innovate, learn, share, connect and grow.
The expected total cost of the Dublin project is $21.1 million. Columbus Metropolitan Library has $18.3 million in funds for the project. The Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation is undertaking private fundraising to help raise the additional $2.8 million needed to fund the project. We are proud to partner with Dublin Community Foundation to raise these funds to support the new Dublin Branch. 100% of donations made to the Dublin Branch Capital Campaign will be used to benefit the Dublin community.
As of April 2019, $1,900,000 has already been secured from private philanthropy. This funding will help ensure the new Dublin Branch fully meets the needs of the Dublin community.
This world-class library is coming to life thanks to a growing roster of corporations, foundations and individuals that have made generous contributions to support our efforts.
We hope you will consider making a gift to help us cross the finish line of Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation’s Dublin Branch Campaign.
The first 1,000 gifts of $50 or more will receive a coupon for a free pint of Johnson's Real Ice Cream. All gifts of $1,000 or more will be included in the Donor Honor Roll and gifts starting at $5,000 will be recognized in specific areas within the library.

With community support, we will create an inspirational space that prepares kids for kindergarten, cultivates a passion for reading in the young, empowers discovery and creativity in our teens, provides the books and resources for adults trying to improve their lives, ensures access to technology to those without, and so much more.
